Long-term price stability
Farmers know the volatility of business income from harvest to harvest, year to year. Endurance is working with United Wind to help US farmers create long-term price stability and reduce their exposure to rising electricity costs.
United Wind has created an electricity supply arrangement through which US farmers have access to renewable energy produced on their land to protect their long-term business operation from rising electricity costs for 20 years.
Some states and utilities allow net metering between properties allowing the land owner to offset electricity costs generated on one property against the value of the electricity generated at another.
