EU Health and Safety Compliance Standards Met By E-3120
Vancouver, BC September 17, 2010 - Endurance Wind Power has officially received its CE Marking Certification on the E-3120 50 kW wind turbine.
The CE certification is a mandatory conformance marking a manufacturer places on their product to declare the product meets the EU consumer safety, health and environmental protection legislation and confirms the E-3120′s compliance with all relevant requirements. The abbreviation CE, when literally translated, means “European conformity”.
The marking will indicate the product’s conformance with EU legislation and allows the unrestricted trade of the E-Series within the European Economic Area. It will allow the E-Series to circulate between the countries without additional requirements or certification.
“This certification will be the first indication of the high-quality products that customers can entrust us to deliver to the European wind energy market. It re-confirms the well designed engineering that has been incorporated in this product for the health and safety of our end users. The entire Endurance team is excited about what this marking signifies to our expansion into the European market”, said Glenn Johnson, CEO of Endurance Wind Power.
