Mr. Doug Hicks
VP of Sales and Marketing
Doug Hicks specializes in new age marketing and sales tactics that leverage the Internet to provide quick and cost effective revenue growth and distribution for small to medium sized businesses.
Doug started his sales and marketing career in the late 1980's and for a decade following that worked for Fortune 2000 companies such as Canon, NCR, AT&T and Rogers. During this time Doug received top sales awards in each of the years that he worked for these companies.
In 1998, Doug joined Netscape Communications where he was Responsible for all direct and indirect sales and marketing activities within one of 4 Districts in Canada. As Regional Director with Netscape, which later became AOL/Time Warner, Doug realized the tremendous power of the Internet. There he worked with Senior Executives of Fortune 2000 Companies on creative strategies to reinforce their brand and grow revenues through leveraging the Internet and the accompanying technologies.
In 2002, Doug formed his own Internet marketing service company, NetPerform Corporate Solutions, focused on helping small to medium sized businesses cost effectively grow their revenues and expand their markets.
For the last five years, Doug has been working with clients that manufacturer various types of Windmills - during this time he has developed an on-line dominance for the windmill market and has developed a keen understanding of the target market for the wind turbine industry for clean energy.
