Aligning Technical Solutions with Business Strategies
Vancouver, BC October 3rd 2012 - Endurance Wind Power (EWP), manufacturer of advanced distributed wind turbines 5 to 50kW is size, is pleased to announce that it has formed a strategic partnership with Norwin A/S - a Danish medium wind turbine company with over 25 years of experience in the wind industry.
The partnership provides Endurance select exclusivity rights to manufacture Norwin wind turbines. The agreement will allow Endurance to manufacture, market and provide the supportive arm for the ongoing operation of all projects installed.
“Our expertise and background lies in the design of our technology but it gives us great pride to work with a company like Endurance to provide the appropriate manufacturing and support capabilities required to successfully complete wind project,” said Ole Sangill, chief executive officer of Norwin A/S.
Norwin’s complete mid-size product line of wind turbines includes a 200kW, 225kW, 500kW and 750kW manufactured over four continents. Their fleet comprises over 500 globally installed units with total fleet operational hours exceeding 65 million.

- Endurance Wind Power (EWP), manufacturer of advanced small wind turbines 50kW in size, designed specifically for distributed wind power applications, today announced it has appointed Charles Newcomb as the Director of Technical Strategy to align the company’s technical solutions with business strategies.
Newcomb brings more than 15 years of experience in nearly all aspects of the wind industry from sales and project development of wind projects to procurement and implementation strategies to his new role. Beginning in September, he will be working with
Endurance’s current technical team on the company’s future product roadmap and business models.
Prior to joining EWP Newcomb held several senior engineering roles at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), served as the Managing Director at Entegrity Wind Systems and Chief Technology Officer at NexGen Energy Partners. He also helped develop the technical requirements for the United States Department of Agriculture`s (USDA) REAP program for energy efficiency and renewable energy.
